The good old days on WON

Was around around back in 1999 when Won used to be full of payers? They say every room used to have like over 100 players both day and night. I still don't know why everyone suddenly left. I think it was due to Won been so unstable. What you guys think?

The first time i got online was that fateful night when you found me on WON

I remember WON being full of games full of spammers with %100 stats and no STing whatsoever.

Weird, loads of people told me alot of the good STs used to password protect their rooms. I think people left WON due to the 'Crashers' i.e. Mordred they didn't help matters on top of that WON was soo unstable, I can see why people just got fed up of it; it's a shame.

Aye, it used to be like 100 peeps in one room, 50 in another, then another 100 or so scattered throughout multiple language rooms like "spanish only"

The 'glory days' for me, where when -=vVv=- was the entire channel, like 70 people, all RP-ing, so there were 4-5 rp games going constantly

But yeah, for a long time it was just Hacknslash.. which people got tired of. Most just moved on to new games.

Some of the more hardcore rp-ers kept a group together, which was usually just "Roleplay" channel, 7-14-ish people

Then I took a break for quite awhile, came back and joined TMP.. the masquerade project.. which was about 10 active people..

then took another break

when i came back, won was dead

I honestly think most of the players lost was just from disinterest. Vamp doesnt have much replayability without good roleplay/st-ing
