WEBSITE UPDATE!

I have tried to make our site as user friendly as possible, i've added a WOD forum and a Character sheet page. You can write the Character sheet (if you plan on making one) on the fourm or the site, it's up to you

Tell me what you guys think, i have also placed our Character sheets (we have so far) in a more "reable" format.

...I am going to write up Yumi's bio in 1999 as, Aero doesn't seem to like it I'm not complaing Aero, i like it when people are Honest.

Glad you like it, Yeah i'm going to copy and paste it from a Word doc i have here. Which is why i like people complaining about my work, it helps me make things better In this case i can fix up Yumi's Bio.

Trogers, you took the initiative to write the bio, and spent the time and effort to make it. I only meant to offer some positive criticism.

The important thing is to like the character you are playing in RP.
So everyone, if you feel satisfied with how your character is, then by all means play it.
Even if it does not follow WoD rules, that is fine. We are players not judges.

Nah, i like it better when someone turns around and says "this is all rubbish, because etc.." than someone going "I love it, well done" So thanks for your feedback on her bio, it's actually helpful

Hamachi channel has now been cleaned, we also now have a new channel that can store over 200 players. The new channel is as follows (Note: NO CAPITALS ARE IN THE NAME OR PASSWORD)

Hope this solves the hamachi player limit issue.

“The Time zone issue”


I don’t think we can do anything about this at the moment, this has been an issue for a very long time now we have a massive amount of members from all around the world it is now an even bigger issue. Games will be held as much as possible by me, the best time for games would be on the weekends thus I will be planning most of my major games on Saturday and Sunday most free plays will go on weekly however.

Trogers2 coming out of retirement?

Yeah it seems I’m needed more than ever, games appear to be going downhill. I will be reopening chapter 4 part 7 around the 14th of January.

VTMR up and down

I will now be using the calendar as an event planner; I will also store what any major events that have occurred over the day/week so I would recommend checking the calendar regularly I’ll try and keep it updated with everything that is going on.

Jan’s map delayed

Jan has currently been busy as a result the map he was planning to release at Christmas will be delayed; the release date has not been arranged yet.

Free webs, page limit!

The page limit is starting to become a problem, it is also restricting us from expanding out site this limits us to place the data on other pages which not only makes the site looks all cramped and untidy but also makes the information harder to find, maybe it is time to leave free webs and convert to another free host?

I used www.synthasite.com before, it is easy to use, though slightly limited.
But I had to use a free domain to give a decent URL. I used www.freedomain.co.nr. But you already have a good domain name.

If anyone wants to edit it, add their own entries, add their own pages, edit my Phoenix by Night entry (may be inaccuracies, plus I'm not finished with the story-so-far), just PM me for the username and pass.

Our main issue is the site must be converted to HTML code before we can rehost it, neither me isador or ze shadow know how to use HTML coding, It is a lot to take in if we were to learn.

Well I know how to use it, I've written a couple sites before just from notepad, but its a pain in the arse and when you start having java applets I get lost.

I could save all your pages and zip them and send them via msn if you want

New rolling system

We have been having a few conflicts with the old system thus we created a new system, not sure what you guys will think of it. Though I think it is much better than the old one.


Games when and where?

I don't know what you guys think here, but the manor on which games are planned is kind of out-of-place. I mean hosted randemly this reduces players actually in the game, how are they supposed to know when a game is on? As a result of this usse, i'll be using the calander to try and get some kind of system in place thatway atleast we know that a game is going to take place. Nothing worse then been about 3 weeks behind on a game .

It appears the project is over, this is a shame no worries though, I will be looking for a different map to host Chapter 5, this may delay things slightly.

ICT Chron hosting for Ze shadow?

I don't know anything of this, as Ze shadow has told nether of us of this. It appears however that Xtc of ICT chronicles (V) is going to start hosting or teaming up with Ze shadow. I'll keep you informed if I find out more.

"New WODAL MOD for VTMR"

Jav is working on a new WODAL and AOR mod for VTMR, I don't know when the Mod(s) are due to be completed however i'm sure they will be worth checking out. You can find out more info about the mods here: www.e-mods.net

I'm not sure, i'll need to do some research on how good different hosts are, I know planetVampire would host us for free, If i find any good free hosts out there i'll give them a try, likewise if you know any good hosts we can try them as well.

We have been getting loads of people sighing up, however it appears some of these people have been waiting for games for a long time now, some even over a month! To combat this issue, i will be asking anyone who sighs up for either Mine or Ze shadows games to submit their bio, the story they write up will be converted into a game. The game will be held whenever that player is free.

**Hamachi Player Limit?**

Not anymore, the Hack seems to be working, if you can't get onto the Kindred-Knights Channel try it in Lowecase letters "kindred-knights" Password is always vtmr for both channels.

**The new dice system?**

Correct, we have a new and more stable dice system, we are also going to "redo" the XP earned in games also, I don't want skins like isador running around with like level 5 everything.

I have enhanced our submit bio section, you now have “20,000” XP to spend and 10,000 for your disciplines. You will get XP per game that you may spend (the amount earned depends on what you did in game) Your Gen starts at default of 13, you can lower it however this will cost 1,000XP for each point you lower it, i.e. 12 Gen will -1000 XP from your 20,000 giving you 19,000 to spend. I will now also be hosting a introduction to everyone who pass the submit bio, this game will be based on your background.

Just a thought, but the XP earned on seems kind of low to me, maybe you could increase it slightly, 25,000 sounds more reasonable.
